Patrick is an IT professional with over 8 years of experience as a Web Developer, Media Consultant, Quality Assurance and Business Analyst, and currently a IIBA-IEEE Certified Cyber Security Professional. As an MSc. Information System Management graduate from the University of Salford and a Computer Science student at the Harvard University, Patrick has been a long time community advocate and activist for a socially responsible society. In 2006, when Patrick completed his bachelor’s degree from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana, he was invited by the University of Florida to present his research work at the 1st World Agroforestry Congress. He was also invited by Microsoft to present his research findings on Child Media Technology in Indianapolis, USA. He worked with various organizations such as the United Nations Model Association in New York, the Youth Affairs Division of the Commonwealth Secretariat, HSH Prince Albert of Monaco’s Peace and Sports initiative, and HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein of Jordan’s Generations for Peace program. He has been an advocate for initiatives centering on Poverty Reduction, Sports & Peace, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Violence Against Women, and Food Security as a board and committee member. Patrick believes that a better way can be achieved by creating a society based on inclusion, fairness and equity for all, approaching society with empathy and understanding, and caring for Mother Earth with management for sustainability. Patrick is happily married to Hilda Fankah-Arthur, a PhD student at the University of Alberta and a Senior Policy Analyst with the Government of Alberta. Their blessed with three children, Princess, Empress and Duke.
